| | Born in Bologna, Italy on Dec. 25, 1882. Ronchi was educated at the University of Milan. He immigrated to NYC in 1908 and was sub-editor of several New York Italian dailies. He settled in San Francisco in 1910 and was associate editor of L’Italia for many years. He also taught Italian at UC Berkeley before his death in San Francisco on Nov. 30, 1944.
