| | Born in Lyon, France on June 10, 1869. Rochard studied art in Paris at Ecole des Beaux Arts. He helped restore Brumidi's murals in the Capitol in Washington, DC and painted murals in the Metropolitan Opera House and Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC. After settling in Los Angeles in 1930, he was active there until 1932 or longer.
