| Rose D. Roylance was born in Canada in March 1862. Rose was the wife of Joseph Roylance and a resident of San Francisco by 1880. She died there on January 2, 1931. Mrs. Roylance was a highly skilled painter of realistic landscapes, still lifes, and Pomo babies. Works by this artist are rare.
