Ray Renfroe's is known for bronze sculptures and paintings of western subject matter rendered with meticulous attention to detail and with beautifully multi-color, mirror-like patinas.
Renfroe was born in Louisiana on April 25, 1918, and as a boy, lived in many southern states including Texas. He left home at age 15 to make his way as a journeyman blacksmith. At 17, he moved to the Gallatin area of Montana when it still tee (showing 500 of 1270 characters). |
