This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Robert Stockton Rogers was born on December 16, 1896 in Burrton, Kansas.  He studied at the Fairmount Conservatory in Wichita, the Art Institute of Chicago, the American Art Academy, and with Allen Philbrick, and Harry Timmons.   He died on 1959.

Member: Art Directors Club; Assoc. of Georgia Artists Atlanta Watercolor Club.

Exhibitions: Museum of Modern Art, 1930; Virginia Museum of Fine Art, 1938; High Museum of Art; Boston Museum of Fine Arts; Atlanta Art Assoc.; Assoc. of Georgia Artists.

Awards: Southern States Art League, 1939; High Museum of Art, 1941; Atlanta Watercolor Club, 1955. Collections: Univ. of Georgia; IBM Collection.
