Roberta Rosenthal says that her two major influences were Pierre Redoute and Georgia O'Keefe. Early in her career she was mentored by artist and sculptor Nathaniel Kaz. Her early paintings were influenced by Piet Mondrian and Sonia Delauney.
She attended the High School of Art and Design with peer artists Terry Winters, Bob Pardo and Ruth Marten. After working as a staff artist for corporations and art studios, Rosenthal had a love of design and illustration that led (showing 500 of 8366 characters). |
