| The following information was submitted in August of 2006 by Karen Klacsmann, Curator for Research at the Morris Museum of Art: Born in Barnsville, Georgia c. 1865, Rosetta Raulston Rivers studied at the Art Students League in NY, the Art Institute of Chicago, and in Paris at the Academie Colarossi and the Modern Art Academy. She moved to Macon, Georgia in 1911 and taught art at Wesleyan College for thirty years. She exhibited with the Georgia Association of Artists and the Southern States Art League. She died on October 17, 1946 at the age of 81 and is buried in Cave Springs, Georgia.
One of her paintings is in the collection of the Morris Museum of Art.
