The following information was submitted in August of 2006 by Karen Klacsmann, Curator for Research at the Morris Museum of Art: Born in Barnsville, Georgia c. 1865, Rosetta Raulston Rivers studied at the Art Students League in NY, the Art Institute of Chicago, and in Paris at the Academie Colarossi and the Modern Art Academy. She moved to Macon, Georgia in 1911 and taught art at Wesleyan College for thirty years. She exhibited with the Georgia Association of Artists and the Sou (showing 500 of 708 characters). |
