This biography from the Archives of AskART:
The following was submitted August 2004 by the artist, who lives in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Roslyn Rose was born in New Jersey in 1929.  She studied art at Rutgers University, Pratt Institute, and Skidmore College, where she received her B.Sc. Ms. Rose is known for her etchings and assemblages.  Recently she has concentrated on using the techniques of Emulsion Transfer and Digital Prints to create Montages. Corporate collections include A T & T, Basking Ridge, NJ; Citibank of NY, Moscow, Russia; PSE&G, Newark, NJ; Readers Digest, Pleasantville, NY; and Nabisco Brands, Parsippany, NJ.

Roslyn Rose had a Solo Exhibition during April, 2003 at the New Century Gallery in New York City. Part of her Homage Series etchings were included in the 2003 exhibition at the Newark Public Library honoring James McNeil Whistler. In 2004, Ms Rose's art work has been included in exhibitions at the J. Wayne Stark Galleries, Texas A & M University; Studio Seto, Boston, M; New Century Artists' Gallery, NY, NY; and, until the end of the year, is part of the "Traveling the Carolinas"
exhibition of the National Association of Women Artists.
