Born in Pittsburgh, Russell Recchion is a portrait and landscape painter who works in Arizona, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. His talent was obvious from childhood when, in the fourth grade, he was selected to attend art classes for gifted young artists at the Carnegie Museum.
Recchion is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. At the Academy, he received the Cadwalader Landscape Prize. He was also exposed to and influenced by e (showing 500 of 970 characters). |
