| Born in Milwaukee, WI on Nov. 26, 1852. Rabjohn painted on the Columbia River before arriving in San Francisco about 1879. He lived and worked there until the 1906 earthquake and then opened an art supplies-framing store in Oakland. (His partner was Fred N. Morcom who was later mayor of Oakland). William Keith bought his supplies there and often gave him painting instruction. Rabjohn died in Glendale, CA on Jan. 27, 1943. His paintings are rare. Exh: Mechanics' Inst.
