Raised in the Utopian Society of Home, Washington, Virna Haffer was one
of the most original artists active in the Pacific
Northwest. A musician as well as a painter and printmaker,
Haffer turned to photography in the mid-1920’s. She was a member
of the Seattle Camera Club and became internationally famous for her
photography, especially in the field of Photograms.
In the field of Photography, her work is in the permanent Collections
of the Metropol (showing 500 of 2308 characters). |
