Walter Oswald Reese (1889-1943)
Walter Reese was the head of the art department at the Cornish Art School, Seattle, Wa.
Born in Pana, Il., Reese studied art at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, University of Washington and with Alexander Archipenko. He joined the Seattle Art Institute, the Puget Sound Group of NW Painters and the Seattle Artists League.
Reese exhibited at the Seattle Art Museum (1937) and the NY World’s Fair (1939) as well as other venues.
