New York City artist and tango aficionado Alice Simpson is best known for her stylized, figurative sculpture and hand painted artist books inspired by the dances, music and motion from Ballroom and Hip Hop. She is a daughter of "eccentric" vaudeville dance sensation, Hal Sherman, and mother of Dustbrother hip hop music producer, Michael Simpson.
