Alma Schulmerich was born in Hillsboro, Oregon in 1897. She put herself through school and possessed an MA in Fine Arts from Columbia University, after having been graduated with a BS degree in Home Economics from Oregon State University.
She studied art under Professor J. Leo Fairbanks of Oregon. Miss Schulmerich has received a scholarship from the Art Students League of New York and two Carnegie Foundation Scholarships. After her second one, fr (showing 500 of 1163 characters). |
