|  Andrew Shunney (Attleboro, March 12, 1916-Nantucket, June 19, 1978)
He was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He studied at the Art Students League and also with Kuniyoshi and Diego Rivera. After further studies in Paris, Shunney came back to Nantucket Island to pursue his career.
A permanent member of the prestigious Parisian Salon d' Automne, Shunney has works represented in the Buehrle Collection in Zurich, Switzerland and several United States Embassies through the Art in Embassies Program.
