| Angelo Charles Scibetta was born in Italy on June 10, 1902. Scibetta studied in New York City at the Art Students League, Cooper Union, and National Academy of Design. During the 1930s he painted murals for the Public Works of Art Project. He maintained a studio-home in Buffalo, New York into the 1940s and then moved to southern California. He died in Los Angeles on January 4, 1962.
