A painter of miniatures on ivory and portraits on canvas, she was married to Wilbur H. Siebert, a professor of history at Ohio State University.  They  were foster parents to Elizabeth and John Marshall whose parents were missionaries in Burma.  Elizabeth Marshall married Hillis L. Howie and their son, John, who died in 1990, was my husband. She was known as "Aunt Tottie" to Elizabeth's family.
