Caroline B. Snyder aka C.B. Snyder. (active 1870 - 1902)
Caroline B. Snyder was the wife of prominent Brooklyn Artist, William H. Snyder, and a student of Abbott Thayer. She was the long time instructor at the Girls High School of Brooklyn, and maintained an art studio in Brooklyn. She was adept at still lifes, landscapes and portraits. She signed her paintings C.B. Snyder, and painted very much in the style of her husband, although extremeley com (showing 500 of 956 characters). |
