| Cash T. Shockey ws born in Illinois on Feb. 12, 1885. By 1910 Shockey had moved to Los Angeles. He painted sets for the movie “Birth of a Nation.” While a resident of Glendale, Shockey continued painted scenes for the movies. He died in Los Angeles on Dec. 17, 1984.
