| Charles Ralph Strong was born in Greeley, Colorado in 1938. Strong studied at the Coronado School of Fine Arts and earned his M.F.A. at San Francisco Art Institute where he was a pupil of Elmer Bischoff and Richard Diebenkorn. His abstract paintings are mosly done in acrylics.
Exhibited: Richmond (CA) Art Center, 1969; UC Berkeley Art Museum, 1972; UC Santa Cruz, 1972.
Works held: Oakland Museum; San Francisco Art Institute.
