This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Trained in architecture in Hungary where he spent five years,
Christopher St. Leger is a native of Indiana whose interests turned to
realistic painting in the late 1990s. In Hungary, he began
spending much time on the city streets drawing and painting with fellow
artists, and became especially interested in working with watercolor.
Returning to his home in Austin, Texas, St. Leger pursued his
fascination with "the urban context, the different way we inhabit
space" and how we, as human beings, connect with our surroundings.
