| Born in Sacramento, CA on June 23, 1904. Seavey studied at UC Berkeley where he won a scholarship to the CCAC. Upon graduation, he opened a commercial art company in San Francisco with artists Louis Sawl and Paul Nyland which lasted 50 years. In his leisure, he painted fine art of varied subject matter. He died in San Francisco on Jan. 7, 1991.
