|  Born in Sacramento, CA on June 23, 1904. Seavey studied at UC Berkeley where he won a scholarship to the CCAC. Upon graduation, he opened a commercial art company in San Francisco with artists Louis Sawl and Paul Nyland which lasted 50 years. In his leisure, he painted fine art of varied subject matter.
