Known for his mixed media on paper works, D Jack Solomon creates complex, richly colored abstract surfaces.

Solomon was born in California but settled in upstate New York, having moved to that state in the mid 1960s. He teaches at the Parsons School of Design in New York City but lives in upstate New York.
