David Shevlino was born 1962 in Jersey City NJ. He studied at the Pennslyvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia PA 1980-84 and at the Art Students' League in NY 1985. He is a realist painter and the subject of his work is urban/cityscape and the figure. His urban paintings feature street scenes and roadways. His figurative work centers around bathers in and around swimming pools. He actively exhibits his work nationally in the US.
