| A landscape painter much influenced by the vigor and intense colors of
19th-century Russian art, Don Sahli lives in Evergreen, Colorado and
spends much time painting the mountain scenery near his home. He
was born in Borger, Texas, and by age 14 was selling his paintings and
had gallery representation. His parents encouraged his
talent. He studied for several semesters at the University of
Texas and took upper level art classes, and then set out, finding
workshops to further his art (showing 500 of 3396 characters). |
