| Don Thomson Schloat was born in Los Angeles, CA Dec. 26, 1921. After graduating from Los Angeles High School, Schloat studied at City College and Otis Art Institute. While a prisoner of war during WWII, he sent back many drawings to the Times. After the war, he joined Disney, Hanna-Barbera, and Filmation Studio. He was a resident of Valley Center, CA until his demise on October 31, 2010.
