| Born in Quincy, IL on Sept. 28, 1904. Schueler moved to California in 1917. After studying at the San Diego Academy of Fine Arts, he worked in San Diego as a commercial artist while painting fine art and exhibiting locally. He remained in San Diego except for 1921-24 when he worked in Los Angeles designing posters for the movie industry. In 1937 he moved to San Francisco where he designed exhibits for the GGIE and continued in commercial art. He later lived in Murphys, CA and taught watercol (showing 500 of 1661 characters). |
