Dottie Sprenger was born in Illinois, (1931) pre World War II. Her Father was an artist in his later years, after the primitive style of Grandma Moses. Dottie started painting in the early 1960's and continues to paint today. Of Dutch, Irish and English descent, Dottie has traveled all over the world to paint, although she has focused mainly on her love of the Southwest.
