Born and raised in New Mexico, Ed Sandoval paints brightly hued northern New Mexico village scenes. He is inspired to paint the New Mexico of his childhood when things moved at a slower pace. The artist describes his style as romantic expressionism.
Sandoval's honors include cover artist for the June 1999 Southwest Art magazine, the poster artist for the Taos Fall Arts Festival in 2002, Santa Fe Wine Festival in 2002, Santa Fe Opera in 2000 and for many years the Taos Solar Music Festival (showing 500 of 2441 characters). |
