| Born in Ohio on Sept. 6, 1877. Edith was the wife of artist-writer Louis Stellman. By the time of the PPIE of 1915, she had moved to the San Francisco Bay area. She ultimately wrote several books about the exposition. She studied at the CSFA. She was a resident of Menlo Park from the 1920s until 1947. Upon retirement, the Stellmans settled in Carmel on the Monterey Peninsula where she remained until her death in an automobile accident on April 29, 1957.
