| Edna Scofield Halseth studied for three years at the Art Institute of Chicago. She is first listed in San Diego in 1908, and lived with a brother and two sisters for a time. At the Panama California Exposition of 1915, her seated figure of the Indian Yellow Sky was awarded a gold medal. Her work also received silver and bronze medals at the Panama California International Exposition the following year. Between 1914 and 1919, she often exhibited figure and portrait (showing 500 of 2595 characters). |
