| | Born in San Francisco, CA on Nov. 9, 1897. Scott was active as an artist in his native city until his suicide there on Feb. 20, 1925. At age 27 he had just begun to do some of his finest work. Local art critics compared his illustrations to those of Aubrey Beardsley.
