I inherited a pencil sketch created by Suydam which has an interesting history. The scene is of San Francisco from Russian Hill, created in 1937. I located the image in the book : "San Francisco, A Pageant", author C.Dobie, illustrated by E.H.Suydam.
My dad was a doctor who practiced in the Bay Area in the 1930's through the 1950's. He started his practice in San Francisco by purchasing the medical practice of a Dr. Jarvis. It turned out that Dr.Jar (showing 500 of 1531 characters). |
