The following information was submitted in August of 2006 by the artist: Ella Sipho was born (1964) and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Her parents divorced early on when she was five years old. Being the oldest of three siblings she became very independent.
As a young artist, Sipho began her art career by painting junk items and transforming them into treasures. Sipho is a self-taught artist however, she attended the University of Columbia, in Columb (showing 500 of 2392 characters). |
