| Born in Chicago, IL on Feb. 12, 1909. Seletz graduated from University of Chicago and Temple Medical School. In 1928 he settled in Los Angeles and soon was a successful neurosurgeon. He taught at USC Medical School during 1950-62. In his leisure he sculpted portrait busts and was active in the local art scene. He died on Oct. 6, 1999.
