| | Born in London, England on March 28, 1860. Stone was a pupil of Richard Belt. He was active in London until ill health forced his move to Canada and finally to Los Angeles in 1900. He established a studio in the Blanchard Bldg where he produced medallion portraits and busts. He exhibited locally and was active in Los Angeles until his death on Aug. 13, 1939.
