Born in Harvey, Illinois, Fred Samuelson became a painter and art instructor, devoting much of his life, beginning 1955, to the teaching of drawing and painting at the Institute Allende in San Miquel Allende, Mexico. For the Art Department, he also served as Chair and Director of Graduate Studies.
He earned his BFA (1951) and MFA (1953) from the Art Institute of Chicago. Exhibition venues include museums in Denver, Dallas, Acapulco, Kalamazoo, and Oklahoma City. He completed a mural for t (showing 500 of 864 characters). |
