Much of the following information, submitted August 2005 by Charles Sweigart, was provided by Marguerite A Dibble (formerly Murdoch), grand niece of the artist and grand daughter of Charles Spiegle, Jr., who was the brother of the artist.
Frederick M Spiegle was a prolific artist, creating both etchings and oil illustrations of wildlife for various publications.
Frederick Spiegle married Emma D Meuller in 1898 in New York City. They had no children. In the artist's obituary in (showing 500 of 1187 characters). |
