A watercolor painter of Kansas City and surrounding area scenery
(mostly Clay and Platte Counties), Gale Stockwell had a residence at
712 NE 42nd Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri.
He combined painting
with his business as an advertising agent and exhibited his paintings
at the Country Club Plaza art fair since 1932. His painting of Parkville, Main Street [Missouri] 1933
was placed in the White House during President Richard Nixon's
