The following information was submitted in November of 2006 by Daniel Hamilton: Gary Sherman was born 1953 in Tulsa Oklahoma, and moved to Oklahoma City in 1957. He attended the Oklahom City Public schools system and graduated from Northeast High School in 1972. He married Joyce Russell in 1978 (divorced 1980); they have one daughter, Teresa Sherman.
Sherman held numerous jobs, unrelated to art, from1972 to 1991, and unlike most artists, he started drawing and paintin (showing 500 of 1225 characters). |
