|  Gerald Anthony Shippen grew up in northwestern Wyoming. His work
is held in public and private collections in the United States,
England, Germany, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, The Netherlands,
United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
Recently his work Captive Warrior was accepted into the permanent collection of the Whitney Gallery of Western Art at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.
Today Shippen resides in Cody, Wyoming.
