| Born in Waterloo, IA on April 15, 1882. Skutt was a small child when he moved to Denver, CO with his family. He grew up and was educated in the public schools there. In 1917 he moved to southern California and settled in Pasadena. Six years later he was made superintendent of the city parks, a position he held for many years. He was greatly responsible for the beautification of Pasadena, redesigning and landscaping its civic center and parks. In his leisure he made painting excursions into (showing 500 of 813 characters). |
