Gordon Steele (born 1906-1961)

Born : Enfield, CT 1906

Occupation : Artist

Education : Hartford Art School; mostly self taught.

Exhibits : (solo)
Salpeter Gallery;

Holdings :
Springfield Museum of Fine Arts; Oswego State College; Cortalnd State Teacher's College; Syracuse Museum; Munson-Williams Proctor Institute inUtic; Rochester Memorial Art Gallery and numerous private collections.

Awards : 45 awards in regional and national shows in 15 years.

Publications : Feature article in American Artist in December 1959 issue.
