| Hamilton G. Stalnaker Jr. was born in Cleveland, OH on Feb. 25, 1919. Stalnaker settled in San Diego in 1925 and later studied at the Village School of Arts After serving in the Air Force during World War Two, he taught at that school for many years. He is currently a resident of Lemon Grove, CA. His paintings are mostly seascapes and desert landscapes.
