Biography from The State Museum of Pennsylvania:
| Started by producing reproduction furniture and then turned exclusively to the creation of wooden bowls and closed containers of various designs using local woods including walnut, cherry, ample and pear. Some of his work was marketed through gift shops, mist was done for the pleasure of it.
