Harry Spiers, born in Selsea (Sussex, UK) on 15 October 1869, painted watercolor landscapes of New England and Ontario. He was trained at the Académie Julian under Henri-Lucien Doucet and Alfred-Henri Bramtot (1852-1894).
Harry Spiers became a member of the Boston Society of Water Color Painters and the Ontario Society of Artists, and he exhibited at the Royal Canadian Academy and a watercolor called Solitude at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1917, when he gave an add (showing 500 of 1060 characters). |
