"Harwood Steiger was born in Macedon, New York in 1900. His early years were spent there and in Fairport, New York where his family moved to.
Mr. Steiger's art eduction was at Mechanics Institute, Rochester N.Y. and at the Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA. He also attended summer school at Westchester and East End Art School at Provincetown. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Arts. He taught art at Oswego Training Schoo (showing 500 of 3271 characters). |
