| Born in Tennessee in August 1876. During the 1890s Helen Sayle lived in Alameda and studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. She later wed a member of the Courvoisier family who made high-quality frames during that time. Exh: SFAA, 1900-02; Calif. State Fair, 1901.
