Henrietta Sanderson was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1909. She studied with George Elmer Browne and M. Jacob before traveling through the Northeastern United States. Sanderson visited Gloucester, Massachusetts and other locales. She was a member of the Allied Artists of America and the National Association of Women Artists.
