| | Born in California on June 18, 1882. Henry was the son of artist Charles D. Shed. He studied under his father and with Arthur Nahl. He was active in San Francisco from the 1890s and for 40 years worked in the photography business as an executive at Eastman Kodak. Upon retirement, he moved to Sebastopol, CA where he remained until his demise on Aug. 27, 1966.
